To Measure a Croissant
Drawing Matter Extracts 2, 2021
printed

A short essay which was awarded the 2020 Drawing Matter Writing Prize. The text is a continuation of an existing drawing exercise titled How to Lay out a Croissant, by Enric Miralles and Eva Prats from 1991. In both precise and anecdotal terms, Miralles and Prats listed out the steps required in laying out a croissant (or an architectural drawing). To Measure a Croissant continues this trail of thought, by continuing to list the possible ways of measuring a croissant. The full text can be read here and was published in Drawing Matter Extracts 2 which can be purchased here.
