This text concludes a series of essays that were published by Drawing Matter which together observe Shatwell Farm and 8 Smart’s Place, the two consecutive homes of the Drawing Matter archive. Making Sense looks at 8 Smart’s Place shortly after the archive relocation through writing and photography. It speaks about the relationships between archiving and organisation, and the spaces which such collections occupy.
