The first in a series of essays which survey Shatwell Farm in Somerset, which was home to the Drawing Matter archive at the time. This essay documents the vehicles seen during the first days on the farm and speculates on what this means in terms of social and economic sustainability, given that Somerset is an agricultural landscape which has largely been transformed by tourism.
